Jonathan Kincade is a writer and photographer based in Washington, DC. His work blends surreal writing, documentary photography, and portraiture to create striking yet emotionally engaging stories. He draws on his own experiences with grief, isolation, resilience to weave intimate images of community and love.

Jonathan’s fiction appears in award-winning magazines like Clarkesworld while his photography can be found in The Sun Magazine and has been featured in exhibitions around the DMV. He was the story editor for the scripts to the films La Llorona and Bird Box. Now, he has shifted his focus to helping nonprofits, small business, and grassroots organizations in the DC area tell their stories and change the region.
